A JOURNEY USING
MINDFULNESS + BREATHWORK + VR
We are deeply grateful to the now over 160 participants who provided feedback on our prototype, helping shape the direction of travel towards a Meditative VR Game called ‘Spirit of the Glade’.
Clinical and Academic studies have shown that inner journeys, designed to induce states of peace, calm and relaxation have a measurable positive effect on emotional states, supporting a reduction in anxiety, stress and depression.
Virtual Reality offers a consistent and reliable medium to provide safe spaces for these immersive and embodied experiences.

PRINCIPLES FOR
SLOW STARTUP
The Ikigai is a Japanese concept meaning a ‘Reason for Being’. It is a powerful framework providing the perfect balance, giving people a deep sense of purpose and meaning in life. In organizations, the Ikigai manifests as the Slow Startup, in the form of a Social Enterprise.
SPIRIT POWER: The Spirit of Infinity always has a seat at the table of meetings. It represents timelessness, boundlessness, the cyclical nature of life, renewal and interconnectedness. The art of deep listening moves to the centre.
CO-CREATIVE PURPOSE: Purpose is the creative energy that motivates us to show up. Journeying together is much better than working on ones own. Shifting from Power to Purpose, where Purpose is the space from which the team creates is a real opportunity for any organization.
WORK PRACTICES: Practices that bring new ways of being into play are important. Our primary practices are co-created meetings using circling and transparent information sharing including ‘check-ins’, and a menu/agenda that is co-created in the moment based on the topics in the field.
DEFERRED PAYMENT: Payment is the reward our heart feels for the life energies and time we contribute compassionately to the journey of all. Delayed gratification teaches us self-regulation and self-control which is essential for us to show up as healthy, whole, authentic humans.
